Since 1993, AVESID has been a pioneering organization in Venezuela, committed to forging a future of full inclusion for people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to empower children, youth, and adults, together with their families, by promoting their comprehensive development, autonomy, and active participation in society. Through specialized programs based on respect for human dignity and scientific evidence, we work to build a community where diversity is valued, rights are fully exercised, and every individual lives a dignified and meaningful life.

At AVESID, the Venezuelan Association for Down Syndrome, we envision a vibrant future for every individual. We achieve this through comprehensive support, including specialized educational programs tailored to their unique learning styles, and vital therapeutic interventions such as speech, occupational, and physical therapy.
