Transforming Lives in Guayas and Manabí As an Ignatian work within the social sector of the Society of Jesus, our mission is to accompany and empower the holistic development of vulnerable communities in Guayas and Manabí. We reach our beneficiaries through concrete and meaningful actions: Comprehensive Education: We open doors to a better future by improving access to and the quality of education for children, youth, and adults, building a solid foundation for their lives. Health: We promote well-being and facilitate access to essential health services, because a healthy community is a strong community. Social Action: We work alongside communities to identify and address their needs, fostering their self-management and resilience. We achieve all of this by connecting the commitment of volunteers, collaborators, and partners, weaving networks of hope through service. We firmly believe that a more just and fraternal society is possible. Join our impact and be a part of this transformation!

Our Impact

In education, 25,652 children and young students have been supported. In health, 549,302 individuals have been attended to. This brings the total to 574,954 people since our beginnings in 1988. It is important to note that these figures do not include the various social assistance efforts, campaigns, workshops for parents, etc., which have been carried out for individuals and families in the areas and/or sectors where we have worked — meaning the true impact is even greater.

Who We Help

Children and youth from 1 to 25 years of age in vulnerable urban or rural areas. Children, youth, and adults in need of medical assistance.
